Dogs Need Exercise!

Dogs Need Exercise!

Dogs need exercise, on a daily basis. It’s a natural answer to their primal instinct which allows them to explore their environment as they stretch their legs, sniffing out who’s who in their territory. And while some breeds are built for a 4 kilometre run, others are more suited to a 20 minute walk and maybe a quick game of ‘fetch’.

All things being equal, your dog will exhibit the easy-to-spot signs that will let you know if their exercise regime is working – or not. Dogs will put on weight and become listless if their exercise periods are being cut short, or worse, not happening at all. Quite the reverse will happen if overdoing the daily routine. Loss of weight coupled to signs of fatigue probably adds up to curtailing or reducing the outdoor activities.

To help keep your dog’s joints healthy, try some “Help, My Joints Are Stiff” treats.  A tasty supplement treat, it’s all-organic herbs and plant formula includes Turmeric, Horsetail, Marigold and Alfalfa – to help promote joint, bone, cartilage and connective tissue health. Other ingredients include Roseship – great for boosting the immune system as well as the general well-being of active dogs.
